Physical Appearance:
Dragon: Mehl is a golden dragoness who easily looms over regular humans while standing on all fours and her body is about as long as a half-sized school bus. She is covered in small, fine, gold scales across most of her body with light yellow plates/scutes along her underside. Has two white horns on the back of her head and a small egg horn on her nose. Upon her head is a frilly crest which starts from her head and travels down to the tip of her tail. Her uniquely shaped ear fins are capable of displaying expression, from lowering when sad to scrunching up when angered. Her build is a bit more lithe then most dragons.

Veiled (human): While veiled as a human she stands at 5'8" and is of average, modest build. She has blue eyes and short, tomboyish brown hair. Prefers wearing denim jeans and either plain coloured shirts or ones with something nerdy embroidered on them.


Personality:
Kind, caring, and friendly. Tends to come off as distant and antisocial to those she doesn't trust or know. Easily frustrated when she can't figure out what to do or when problems keep piling up on her. She is very protective of those she cares about and can get very passionate when those she cares about or what she believes in is threatened. Not really one for talking but believes herself to be a very good listener.

Likes: Video games, Magic The gather, Dungeons and Dragons, laying under the sun in her dragon form, cuddling, learning about magic
Dislikes: Losing, unfair difficulty in games, violence, discrimination, bullies, rainy/gloomy weather, cold weather, being referred to as a yellow dragon
Quirks: Gets a little punchy with her friends when they make bad puns and jokes, is quick to correct someone who calls her yellow... even though one would technically be right.

Weaknesses in combat: only really fights using instinct, unless enraged her fear of hurting others badly often keeps her blows from doing serious damage, when enraged she has little control over her actions, scales only give minimum protection against weapons

Backstory:
Stephen was born and lived all his life in Winnipeg. Spent his life growing up with his mother, step father, and two younger brothers. Bullied most of his school years due to him not falling into social clicks like everyone else or liking what most others did. Grew up with a strange fondness for transformation and always enjoyed media that contained such, sometimes even wishing he could be something other than human, never really feeling comfortable as such. When he reached his adult years the strong feelings of feeling like he should be something else led him to discovering otherkin, people who believed they were something other than human on the inside. And later he found the furry fandom. It was through websites that catered to such where he met his best friend Dafydd and friend, who later became his boyfriend, Ravtrag. After some soul searching 'she' eventually found her inner dragoness, Mehlahphuse, as well as her gender and even sexual preference thanks to being in a more welcoming environment for such discoveries. She was content for some time to keep her inner dragoness as something spiritual as well as a form of expression through the fandom. And then the emergence event happened which opened doors to possibilities to things she and her friends only dreamed about.

Then, at a Halloween party, she ran afoul a sorceress named Eris....

I have to thank for this wonderful pic. Been meaning to start getting pics like this to start introducing characters for my series. And of course I'll be starting off with....myself. Or rather the fictional character version of myself, at any rate. Others will come soon enough... but pics like these aren't cheap so expect them to come slowly.
